TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 JAGUAR XJ8. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSIDE DOOR HANDLE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE WAS DEFECTIVE. SHE HAD TO ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW TO RELEASE THE DOOR LOCK AND EXIT THE VEHICLE.

I HAVE PURCHASED NEW 2003 XJ8 JAGUAR. DRIVEN IN THE PAST 6 YEARS AS A SECOND CAR. HAVE ONLY 29,000 MIL AND THE FUEL PUMP TOTALLY MELTED. THERE WAS NO WARNING OR ANY INDICATION IT IMMEDIATELY DIED. I WAS LUCKY I WAS NOT DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY.

CERTAIN REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTERS, FRAM BRAND NAME P/N G3727, WITH DATE CODES X52911 THROUGH X60801 SEQUENTIALLY OR X600141 AND A MEXICO COUNTRY OR ORIGIN MARKING ON THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING MANUFACTURE

Remedy: HONEYWELL WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE FUEL FILTERS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 18, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FRAM CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-890-2075 (OPTION 1).
