BROUGHT IN MY 2000 ISUZU RODEO TO A DEALERSHIP ON 01/21/11 DUE TO A SAFETY RECALL WHICH WAS ISSUED IN OCT,2010. ADVISED THAT INSTALLING THE NEW RECALL PART WOULD BE POINTLESS DUE TO RUST ON THE FRAME OF THE RODEO.

IN DECEMBER, 2005, I NOTICED THAT MY ENGINE WAS KNOCKING. UPON ARRIVING HOME, I CHECKED THE OIL. IT WAS BONE DRY. I HAD JUST REPLACED THE OIL 4,500 MILES BEFORE, AND CHECKED THE OIL 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO THIS PROBLEM.

I PURCHASED A 2000 ISUZU TROOPER IN EARLY 2005. IT HAD 32,000 MILES ON IT. AT APPROX 49,000 MILES, WITHOUT WARNING, MY ENGINE STARTED TO KNOCK LOUDLY. I PULLED OVER, CHECKED THE OIL, AND IT WAS BONE DRY. I FILLED UP THE OIL, AND PROCEEDED HOME.
