ABS LIGHT COMES ON AND THE HYDRAULIC BRAKES LOCK UP. THIS IS A RECURRING PROBLEM WITH THIS TRUCK. THE FIRST TIME THE ABS WENT OFF AND BRAKES RELEASED. THE SECOND TIME WAS IN SEPTEMBER 2006 WHEN THE ABS LIGHT STAYED ON.

SAFETY TIMELINE
CERTAIN TRUCKS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 209, "SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES." THE SEAT BELT LATCH FAILED A QUALITY REVIEW.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES. OWNER NOTIFICATION IS BEGAN ON JUNE 11, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT INTERNATIONAL AT 1-800-445-7825.
