I've had 2 incidents where my vehicle has stopped and not restarting. I took it to the dealership, and they stated I needed a starter. I see there are several complaints regarding this issue with the model QX80.

Ongoing failure to start, multiple battery replacements in less than 2 years. Purchased a warranty and of course the vehicle will not replicate its failure to start when it is at the dealership for the warranty claims adjustor to review.

WENT TO START CAR AFTER IT WAS SITTING OVER NIGHT (AND TEMPERATURE HAD DROPPED) AND IT WOULD NOT START, REQUIRING A JUMP. NOTHING WAS LEFT ON OVERNIGHT. CAR REQUIRED JUMP START TWO MORE TIMES UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO TAKE TO DEALER.
