Passenger airbag sensor showing warning. There was a previous recall that shows active but my VIN says it does not have an unaddressed recall which I think is inaccurate.

Air bag light began blinking notifying me of an issue. The vehicle is available for an inspection. I took car to dealer for diagnostic check. The dealer informed me that it is the drivers side airbag causing the issue.

THE CAR WAS IN PARK IN OUR GARAGE. MY HUSBAND WAS SITTING IN DRIVER SEAT WITH ONE LEG OUT AND THE DOOR OPEN. THE CAR MADE A SOUND AND STARTED MOVING IN REVERSE. IT ONLY STOPPED BECAUSE THE DOOR HIT OUR GARAGE WALL AND HE WAS TRYING TO STOP THE CAR.
