While driving the SUV on the highway I went to brake and it acted as if the ABS bra king system engaged. The brake light came on the dash. I pulled off the highway and turned the car off.

The brake light comes on, the brake pedal weakens and brake system makes a rattling noise when the pedal is pressed. It makes it very difficult to stop the car.
