TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 INFINITI I30. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE SEIZED AND THE CHECK ENGINE AND ABS WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL, WHICH FAILED TO STOP THE VEHICLE.

SAFETY TIMELINE
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE PIN AT THE END OF THE FRONT SUSPENSION TRANSVERSE LINK (LOWER CONTROL ARM) COULD BREAK WHERE IT IS MOUNTED TO THE FRAME.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE TRANSVERSE LINKS ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES WITH NEW ONES. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JULY 29, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UP

Remedy: ANZO WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE HEADLAMPS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN MAY 9, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT ANZO USA AT 909-468-3688.
