TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 INFINITI G35. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TURNING ON THE VEHICLE, THE ENGINE REVVED AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO APPLY THE BRAKES HOWEVER, THE BRAKES FAILED.

Runaway acceleration. Three times now in the last two weeks the RPMs went to maximum redline without my foot on the accelerator pedal. Fortunately all occurred when I was at very slow speed and either in a driveway or a parking lot.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 INFINITI G35. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH IN RAINY WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE ANTI-TRACTION SWITCH ACTIVATED AND CAUSED THE WHEELS TO LOCK. THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, WHICH MEANS THAT IT WAS ACTIVATED AS WELL.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL TEST THE SIGNAL BETWEEN THE OCS AND ACU SYSTEMS USING A SPECIAL TOOL TO CHECK THAT IT IS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. IF NECESSARY, THE SEAT CUSHION (CONTAINING OCS HARDWARE) WILL BE REPLACE
