The power steering on my car stopped working entirely right after startup and would not return after multiple restarts. The dealership has replaced the steering torque sensor but the problem returned less than a month later.

I was driving the speed limit, not going fast, when suddenly the power steering went out, it is an EPS system. I pulled over, cycled the car on and off and it fixed the problem, for now at least.

SAFETY TIMELINE
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Veloster N, 2019-2023 Genesis G70, 2022-2023 Elantra N, and Kona N vehicles. The fuel pump may fail, which can result in a loss of drive power.
Remedy: Dealers will update engine control module software. In addition, dealers will inspect and replace the fuel pump assembly, as necessary. All repairs will be performed free of charge.
