On XXX the vehicle lost motive power while my wife was accelerating to merge onto a highway with our two young children aboard. It would not accelerate and she was forced to pull over in an active merge area.

This is the 4th time that a new fuel pump has been replaced on this 2022 Hyundai Tucson hybrid. I think the car part needs a recall because the fuel pump keeps breaking.

On 9/3/23, driver was waiting at a stop sign to turn left. When driver accelerated into the highway, there was no power and the vehicle would only go 5-10 mph. Warning lights came on to check the hybrid system with the HEV indicator light.
