2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid was parked overnight in a garage. Early in the morning of November 24, 2014 it caught fire resulting in total loss of the vehicle and the home. The occupants were able to escape the home without injury.

While driving car system warning came on to" Safely stop and do not drive". Was able to pull over and stop car. Could not restart it. Had it towed then changed battery which was low. Tried to restart and did not turn on until 3RD time starting.

I purchased sky blue 2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid limited on August 31ST, 2014. I drove the car for approximately two weeks, during this time I noticed and felt when I braked the car did not stop immediately, there was a delayed effect.

Traveling at 60 MPH in a 2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid . A deer approximately weighing 150 pounds jumped on to the road and collided with my before mentioned vehicle. Causing damage on the front bumper, hood, and passenger side fender.

2017-04-13Seat belts17V152000 Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2011-2014 Sonata and 2011-2015 Sonata Hybrid vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the seat belt linkages for both front seat belts may detach from the seat belt anchor pretensioners.
Remedy: Hyundai will notify owners and dealers will inspect the connection between the seat belt linkages and the seat belt anchor pretensioners, repairing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin April 7, 2017.

2017-11-06Seat belts17V617000 Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2011-2014 Sonata and 2011-2015 Sonata Hybrid vehicles previously repaired under recall campaign 17V-152.
Remedy: Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will again verify the connection between the seat belt linkage and the pretensioner and additionally install a warning label to prevent future seat belt linkage detachment, free of charge.

Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will replace the ABS fuse, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024 through October 11, 2024.
