My partner drove it towards location about 1 mile away. Partner had driven it about 3 miles each way just a few hours earlier. Also drove it about 5 hours earlier in the morning, then I drove it about 10 miles.

On 5/27/26, when the car was parked in parking lot, received an alert on dashboard, "check electric vehicle system", when the car was turned on. The car would not shift in to drive or reverse so had to get towed to nearby Hyundai dealership.

2024-04-22Electrical system24V204000 Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022-2024 IONIQ 5, 2023-2024 IONIQ 6, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70 "Electrified," and Genesis G80 "Electrified" vehicles.

Remedy: This recall is replaced by NHTSA recall number 24V-868. Vehicles already repaired under this recall will need to have the new remedy completed. Dealers will inspect and replace the ICCU and its fuse, as necessary.

2024-12-20Electrical system24V868000 Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022-2024 IONIQ 5, 2023-2025 IONIQ 6, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70 "Electrified," and Genesis G80 "Electrified" vehicles.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the ICCU and its fuse, as necessary. In addition, dealers will update the ICCU software. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 20, 2024.

Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and limit their charge to a maximum of 80% until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will replace the high voltage battery system assembly, free of charge.
