My heating and ac blower motor stopped working on a vehicle that has less than 31K miles on it. The estimated repair costs are 500$, not including the tow, being that it is the middle of winter and the closest dealership is 20 miles away.

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 Hummer H3. On many occasions, the vehicle would not immediately start and the security indicator illuminated. The vehicle had been serviced for the same failure many times at maritime motors (985 post rd, fairfield, ct).

2016-02-26Visibility15V421000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2006-2010 Hummer H3 vehicles manufactured February 5, 2005, to May 24, 2010, and 2009-2010 Hummer H3T vehicles manufactured May 21, 2008, to May 24, 2010.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace part of the blower motor connector and harness, free of charge. The recall began February 26, 2016. Owners may contact Hummer customer service at 1-800-732-5493. GM's number for this recall is 15042.
