On 4/24/14, my wife was driving our 2009 Hummer H3 down our driveway with our 2 younger boys inside. Before the end of the driveway, both the driver side and passenger side curtain airbags deployed.

In 2010 Hummer had a hood vent recall , and the fix was applying glue strips to it, this fix was not adequate , as the problem is still existing . This poses yet another safety issue.

2016-02-26Visibility15V421000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2006-2010 Hummer H3 vehicles manufactured February 5, 2005, to May 24, 2010, and 2009-2010 Hummer H3T vehicles manufactured May 21, 2008, to May 24, 2010.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace part of the blower motor connector and harness, free of charge. The recall began February 26, 2016. Owners may contact Hummer customer service at 1-800-732-5493. GM's number for this recall is 15042.
