I was driving down the road normal and the next moment my foot was on the gas as normal and the engine began to rev without propelling my vehicle any farther. I slowed down and then coasted to the side of the road.

Tl* the contact owns a 2001 Honda Odyssey. While parked, the rear driver and passenger side doors failed to open. The contact stated that the rear driver and passenger side doors would not open if the vehicle's gear was in the drive position.

The power sliding doors on this van do not stop closing very easily if an obstruction (Ie a person) is in the way. The remote door open/close is very sensitive and easily trigerred.

Sliding door fails to close properly if anything is in doorway. Door would close to approximately 4 inches, if anything was in the way, before it opened back up. Adult arm was caught, and door continued to close until required inches were met.

The contact owned a 2001 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 30 MPH, she was blinded by sun glare and crashed into the back of a maintenance trailer. The air bags failed to deploy.

Takata recall in January, 2014, I left the road to avoid another car, hit a deer-crossing sign which then deployed the drivers airbag. The airbag blasted out to the right of the steering wheel thus hitting my right arm.

Automatic sliding doors apply dangerous pressure to people before retracting. I have been hurt twice by being crushed and bruised by doors closing on my body when door was accidently activated while loading children and passengers.

2001 Honda van : automatic sliding side door was closing after someone engaged remote door close. Door closed on me slowly, but force of door motor was quite strong to the point were I nearly paniced.

2020-10-01Air bags20V027000 Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2001-2002 Acura 3.2CL, 2000-2003 Acura 3.5RL, 2000-2001 Acura 3.2TL, Honda CR-V and Honda Odyssey, 2001-2002 Acura MDX and 2000 Accord Coupe, Accord Sedan, Civic Coupe, and Civic Sedan vehicles.
Remedy: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the air bags in the vehicles, replacing the driver frontal air bag inflator with an inflator of a different design, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began October 1, 2020.
