1992-03-20Fuel system, gasoline92V028000 If the plastic coating of the fuel filler and/or breather pipe is damaged, salt water may accumulate between the plastic coating and the steel pipes, and the accumulation could cause corrossion…
Remedy: Corroded filler or breather pipes will be cleaned and recoated or replaced as needed.

Date not on fileElectrical system84V164000 Wire in battery charging circuit cannot tolerate the maximum current drawn by the alternator. Under repeated high electrical load, heat will build up at connector terminal area, melting the plastic wire harness, possibly discharging battery.
Remedy: Charging circuit wire will be replaced, free of charge.
