WHILE SLOWING DOWN ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAY, VEHICLE RAMMED INTO VEHICLE IN FRONT OF IT. ALL THE DAMAGE WAS TO THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE AND THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVABLE AFTER THE COLLISION.

VERIFIED WITH HONDA THAT AIRBAGS WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END COLLISION AT A HIGH SPEED (OVER 50 MPH) ON THE HIGHWAY (AFTER THE CAR IN FRONT STOPPED SUDDENLY) AND AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.

DRIVER OF 2005 HONDA ACCORD HYBRID WAS TRAVELING DOWN A TWO LANE ROAD AND CROSSED OVER THE CENTER LINE. THE DRIVER OVER CORRECTED AND WENT INTO A SPIN. THE VEHICLE SLID DOWN AN EMBANKMENT AND HIT BROADSIDE INTO A GROUP OF TREES.
