The vehicle caught fire while parked and ignition turned off. Fire appeared to start in the engine area. Vehicle had been parked and turned off for approx 1.5 to 2 hours before the fire was reported.

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 GMC Yukon. While entering the vehicle, she noticed flames and smoke. The fire department extinguished the flames. The report stated that there was an electrical short in the instrument control panel .

On all 4 occasions, the 2008 Yukon Hybrid, lunges forward at low speeds, looses brakes, power steering and all power. Every time it has to be towed to the dealer. This has happened 4 times since August 2008.

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 GMC Yukon. The contact stated while driving 35 MPH the vehicle stalled. When the contact looked underneath the hood, the contact observed that the vehicle was on fire. The police and fire department extinguished the fire.
