TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 GMC YUKON XL 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT BRAKE FLUID WAS LEAKING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED BRAKE FLUID WOULD SPEW OUT FROM THE BRAKE LINES.

WHILE BLEEDING THE BRAKE SYSTEM AFTER A BRAKE JOB THE STEEL BRAKES LINES FAILED. DURING THE INSPECTION OF THE STEEL LINES IT WAS FOUND THAT ALL THE STEEL LINES WERE RUSTED SEVERELY TO THE POINT OF FAILURE.

CERTAIN REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTERS, FRAM BRAND NAME P/N G3727, WITH DATE CODES X52911 THROUGH X60801 SEQUENTIALLY OR X600141 AND A MEXICO COUNTRY OR ORIGIN MARKING ON THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING MANUFACTURE
Remedy: HONEYWELL WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE FUEL FILTERS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 18, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FRAM CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-890-2075 (OPTION 1).
