I just left the gas station from getting a beverage, I got onto the interstate and had gone roughly about 3 miles before setting super cruise a few minutes after that the interstate takes a turn to the left with an exit on the right.

While towing my boat to the Florida Keys, I encountered a series of mechanical issues on Interstate 75. The engineâs exhaust became excessively loud, causing the engine to abruptly shut off.

Complete engine failure while driving on a highway. While cruise was set, the truck emitted a sound and sensation like we had run over something on the highway. Within a few minutes the engine started ticking.

The upper hood trim that sits above the grill, flew off on the interstate at approx 80 mph. Upon research this is a common problem for this make and model in years of 22-24. GM has a service bulletin for this issue as well as the NHTSA.

The infotainment system loses all audio through the speakers intermittently. when this happens I also lose the Safety warning chimes as well. shutting off the vehicle for an extended period of time resets something and it resumes normal function.

2023-01-23Exterior lighting22V903000 General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Cadillac CT4 and CT5; 2021-2023 Buick Envision; and 2022-2023 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles.
Remedy: The body control module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2023.

2025-06-18Engine and engine cooling25V274000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, and Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles equipped with a 6.2L V8 gas engine.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the engine, and as necessary, repair or replace the engine. For vehicles that pass inspection, dealers will add higher viscosity oil, install 6 oil fill cap, replace the oil filter, and update the owner's manual.
