FUEL GAUGE OFTEN READS "EMPTY" WHEN TANK IS COMPLETELY FULL OR AT SOME POSITION MIDWAY BETWEEN FULL AND EMPTY. I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING FOR SURE WHAT THE ACTUAL LEVEL OF FUEL IS BECAUSE THE GAGE JUMPS OVER THE FULL RANGE OF POSITIONS WHILE DRIVING.
