The 12 volt battery does not recharge resulting in the car going dead. All instruments are blank. The car has been in the dealer's service department since April 28 and they not been able to fix the problem.

The 12 volt battery on the EV car has gone dead twice since I took delivery on the new car in January 2025. When that happens the car is completely dead and must be manually accessed to open the hood and jump start the car.

UNKNOWN On 1/16/26, I was parked in an underground parking spot. When I moved the gear shift into reverse and lifted my foot from the pedal, the car surged more than expected and the left mirror hit the cement pillar.

2024-09-11Back over prevention24V584000 Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain Genesis 2024-2025 GV60 hybrid and 2025 GV80 vehicles. The rearview camera display may shut off when the vehicle is driven in reverse.
Remedy: Dealers will update the rearview camera software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 11, 2024. Owners may contact Genesis Customer service at 1-844-340-9741. Hyundai's number for this recall is 024G.

2024-12-20Electrical system24V868000 Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022-2024 IONIQ 5, 2023-2025 IONIQ 6, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70 "Electrified," and Genesis G80 "Electrified" vehicles.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the ICCU and its fuse, as necessary. In addition, dealers will update the ICCU software. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 20, 2024.

Remedy: The instrument panel display software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 22, 2025. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741.

2025-10-30Structure, visibility25V624000 Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Genesis GV60 electric vehicles. The stainless-steel molding at the top of the windshield assembly may detach.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the windshield molding, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning October 30, 2025. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741. Hyundai's number for this recall is 028G.
