I PURCHASED A 2018 SABRE COBALT 37BHQ FIFTH WHEEL IN MAY 2018. I HAVE TAKEN THIS FIFTH WHEEL ON 5 TRIPS, ALL OF WHICH WERE LESS THAN 50 MILES FROM HOME.

WHILE DRIVING WEST BOUND ON INTERSTATE 80 ABOUT THREE MILES OUTSIDE OF TRUCKEE CALIFORNIA OUR BACK TIRE TREAD SEPARATED FROM THE TIRE. IT PROCEEDED TO SLAP AGAINST THE WIRING OF THE SILDE OUT THAT SUPPLIES ALL OUR POWER TO OUR KITCHEN.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 2, 2021. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8600.

Remedy: Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by May 14, 2024.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2004-2024 Cedar Creek and 2006-2024 Puma fifth wheels trailers.
Remedy: Dealers will reroute the wires to the protected side of the mini-beaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2024.
