VEHICLE IS A 2017 5TH WHEEL TRLR.. ON 7/12/2019 I WAS TOWING THE TRLR AT 70 MPH AND PULLED INTO A STOP. TRLR IS 2 AXLES AND THE RT. FRONT TIRE WAS FLAT WITH ABOUT A 7 INCH STRIP OF TREAD HANGING LOOSE AT THE JUNCTION OF THE TREAD/SIDEWALL.

SAFETY TIMELINE
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2017 Cedar Creek recreational trailers manufactured September 8, 2016, to September 19, 2016.
Remedy: All affected vehicles have been captured at the dealer level and are being repaired prior to sale. Therefore, an owner notification letter will not be issued for this campaign. Dealers will replace the axles that are rated for a 7,000lb capacity.
Campaign 16V762000 — check if this car was fixed
Forest River, Inc.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on December 27, 2017.

Forest River, Inc.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 2, 2021. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8600.
Campaign 21V523000 — check if this car was fixed
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2004-2024 Cedar Creek and 2006-2024 Puma fifth wheels trailers.
Remedy: Dealers will reroute the wires to the protected side of the mini-beaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2024.
