WHILE RETURNING HOME FROM A TRIP WE WERE NOTIFIED BY ANOTHER DRIVER WE HAD JUST LOST A TIRE. ONCE WE PULLED OVER WE FOUND THAT THE ENTIRE WHEEL HAD SHEARED OFF THE HUB. AFTER LIMPING THE TRAILER OFF THE HIGHWAY WE WENT BACK AND RETRIEVED THE TIRE.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on December 27, 2017.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2004-2024 Cedar Creek and 2006-2024 Puma fifth wheels trailers.
Remedy: Dealers will reroute the wires to the protected side of the mini-beaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2024.
