I HAVE A 2009 FOREST RIVER SANDPIPER 5TH WHEEL TRAILER. I HAVE HAD TIRE PROBLEMS AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS DUE TO THE MANUFACTURER UNDERSIZING THE AXLES AND SPRINGS.

OUR UNIT HAD CRACKS IN THE GEL COAT, UPON REMOVING THE NOSE CAP WE FOUND THAT THE WELDS HAD FAILED AND WE WERE TOLD THAT THE METAL IN THE ACTUAL FRAME WAS TO WEAK TO HOLD THE WEIGHT OF THE UNIT.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2004-2024 Cedar Creek and 2006-2024 Puma fifth wheels trailers.
Remedy: Dealers will reroute the wires to the protected side of the mini-beaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2024.
