Vehicle breaks stopped working and went straight to the floor. Also loss of steering. Since both the brakes and steering are electronic I believe there was a electronic failer in the car.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The contact stated that while turning to the left or right, the steering wheel was sticking. While driving at slow speeds in colder temperatures in a parking lot, the steering became inoperable.

Steering wheel suddenly became loose while driving down local street. Was driving at 20 miles per hour. The more I drove, the looser steering wheel became. Was able to return to my home. Will take to dealership for evaluation.

I was driving 25MPH on a neighborhood road when I slowed down to go over a speed bump. After going over the bump, I went to accelerate and the car felt as if it had choked and lost all power.

2019-01-18Equipment18V592000 Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 120V Convenience charge cords that were supplied with and sold for use with 2013-2015 Ford C-Max Energi and Fusion Energi vehicles and 2012-2015 Ford Focus Electric vehicles.
Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the current cord with a new 120V convenience cord with a thermistor, free of charge. The recall began January 18, 2019. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.
