I WORK FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SAN DIEGO FLEET SERVICES. WE HAVE SEVERAL 2014 FORD E-350'S IN OUR RENTAL FLEET. SOME TIME A FEW YEARS BACK MICHELIN RECALLED MANY OF THE LTX TIRES ON MANY OF OUR VANS.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD E-350. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT SMELLED A BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE ENGINE WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED.

Remedy: Landi Renzo USA will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the side arm brackets, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on March 27, 2014. Owners may contact Landi Renzo USA at 1-855-526-3400.
