ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHILE APPLYING BRAKES VEHICLE WOULD NOT STOP PROPERLY. HAD TO PUMP BRAKES TO GET IT TO STOP. WHEN IT DID IT CAUSED ONE OF THE WHEELS TO LOCK UP INTERMITTENTLY. DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED AT THIS TIME.

WHILE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH APPLIED PRESSURE TO BRAKE PEDAL. BRAKE SYSTEM MOMENTARILY SLOWED VEHICLE THEN UNEXPECTEDLY RELEASED, AND ALLOWED FOR CONTINUED FORWARD MOVEMENT.

I PURCHASED A USED 2001 FORD PICKUP ON 10/26/06. ON JANUARY 10,2007 IT CAUGHT FIRE WHILE BEING PARK OVER NIGHT. I REPORTED THE FIRE TO FORD AND THEIR RESPONSE IS THAT THE DAMAGE WAS TOO SEVER TO VERIFY ANY MFG DEFECT.
