In May 2014 my 2014 Fiat 500L was brought to ziegler dealership for a safety recall concerning the automatic transaxle gear shift module and they flashed the esm (Recall on NHTSA website). In January 2015 we noticed a burning smell under the engine.

While parked at a mcdonalds drive-thru window in detroit mi in my 2014 Fiat 500L at approximately 11:30 a.m. The car began to smoke profusely. The smoke filled the interior cabin and under the hood area.

Was driving the car in stop and go traffic in detroit. Car began to smoke heavily as if on fire, and engine shut down and stalled right in the middle of the highway. Had car towed to dealership and they were unable to do immediate diagnosis of car.

2015-06-19Power train15V291000 Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Fiat 500 battery electric vehicles manufactured March 8, 2013, to March 7, 2015.

Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the EVCU, free of charge. The recall began June 19, 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is R20.

2016-11-10Power train16V302000 Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 Fiat 500 vehicles manufactured June 21, 2010, through January 12, 2016, equipped with a manual transmission.

Remedy: The remedy for this recall will include the installation of a clutch pedal limiter and a clutch pedal switch. The recall began on November 10, 2016. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403.

2024-07-11Tires24V474000 Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2014-2019 Fiat 500 vehicles. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light may not illuminate as intended.

Remedy: Dealers will reprogram the TPMS electronic control unit module, free of charge. Owners were mailed July 11, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 80B.
