On two occasions ignition switch wires caught on fire. This caused the plastic around the ignition to melt. Dealer informed the consumer that there was a recall, but this vehicle was not covered under the recall due to VIN.

The consumer stated when the vehicle hit the curve at 30 MPH he loss steering control, which caused a distraction to the consumer. Dealer notified. *ak the steering shaft and the drag link were replaced.
