2010 DODGE RAM 1500 W/ GEAR SHIFTER LOCATED ON STEERING COLUMN WAS PARKED IN A DRIVEWAY WHEN THE GEAR SHIFTER POPPED OUT OF GEAR AND BEGAN TO ROLL. AS A RESULT, OWNER OF VEHICLE SUFFERED LEFT ANKLE AND THORACIC FRACTURES REQUIRING HOSPITALIZATION.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 RAM 1500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND UNOCCUPIED, IT ROLLED DOWN THE DRIVEWAY WITHOUT WARNING AND CRASHED INTO A MAILBOX, BIRD BATH, AND TELEPHONE POLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.
