TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CARAVAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH AND ATTEMPTING A U-TURN, SHE NOTICED FIRE COMING FROM THE FRONT END OF HER VEHICLE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CONTACTED TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE.

VAN ENGINE SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING AT 40MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE CAN HAS SHUT OFF. THE VAN HAS SHUT OFF ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, MOST OF THE TIME IT IS WITHIN A FEW HUNDRED YARDS OF THE STARTING POINT.

TAKATA RECALL. I WAS TAKING MY CHILDREN TO SCHOOL AND THE STEERING AND BREAKING SYSTEM COMPLETELY LOCKED UP ON ME ALMOST CAUSING US TO CRASH INTO A TREE. I WAS ABLE TO PUSH IN THE EMERGENCY BREAK AND GET THE CAR OUT OF DRIVE.
