The OEM starter ignited a fire under the front end of my vehicle. Upon noticed, I immediately grabbed a fire extinguisher, and I put the fire out.

While driving on the interstate at night, our 09' Chrysler 300 completely shutoff unexpectedly. Engine shutoff, loss of power steering, no power brakes...and worst of all, all lights shutoff!

While driving down road engine just stops running as if ignition was turned off! Radio stays on. Shift to neutral and able to restart it if not run over by then! Very bad safety problem! Has happened multiple times. No pattern that I can tell.

Remedy: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until the recall repair is complete. Chrysler will notify the affected Chrysler and Dodge owners and Mitsubishi will notify the affected Raider owners.
