My car started have turbo problems 2024. While driving, something disconnected, I heard and felt something fall off under my car and it had no power. I was about 5miles from home. It was the turbocharge that broke and fell off while I was driving!

The chevy trax has a faulty turbo system. There are so many problems, including accelerating without pressing the gas and stalling when pushing the gas. It is a huge safety issues that is occuring in most trax.

I leased a 2019 chevy Trax in jan on this year, had about 8,000 miles on it last month when the lower control arm failed while my wife was driving it. There is recall for previous years but not my vehicle for the lower control arm.

2018-11-06Air bags18V774000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019 Buick Encore, Chevrolet Spark, Traverse, and Trax vehicles.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the SDM module to the correct mode, free of charge. The recall began November 6, 2018. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300 and Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020.

2019-06-14Suspension19V312000 General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Chevrolet Trax vehicles. A joint in one or both of the front lower-control arms may have been improperly welded.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the left and right front lower-control arms, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began June 14, 2019. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-222-1020.
