I have a p-30 Chevrolet chassis with a class a motorhome on it. The unit is a 1994 manufactured unit. I have had continuous failures of the automatic park system. The unit was diagnosed under warranty initially in 1995.

1994 dolphin motor home on chevy p-32032 chassi with auto parking brake. I am having problems with this parking brake and have read about all the problems with this brake system and the call for a recall on this system.

While driving with cruise control, a fuse blew causing the auto park brake to activate, the brake assembly overheated and caught fire within a couple of miles, the consumer smelled smoke and pulled over to see flames.

    Remedy: Honeywell will notify owners and replace the fuel filters free of charge. The recall began on October 18, 2006. Owners may contact fram customer service at 1-800-890-2075 (Option 1).
