STRONG GAS SMELL AFTER FILLING UP GAS TANK. CAN BE SMELLED IN CAR AND OVERWHELMS GARAGE IF TANK IS OVER HALF FULL.

fuel leak on driver side tank elbow on gas pump is cracked. Low beam headlights do not work, high beams are ok.

warning light came on checked code p0442 came up stating a small vapor leak in fuel system. replaced fuel cap , smoke test and found that the evap vent solenoid was leaking. Remove and replace fuel tank vent valve program module. Still smelled fuel.

ALTHOUGH MY CAR IS A 2009 IT ONLY HAS 300 MILES ON IT. THE ZO6 MODEL WHICH HAS THE "LS7 ENGINE HAS A KNOWN VALVE ISSUE WITH BOTH INTAKE AND EXHAUST BEING OUT OF SPEC AND WEARING RAPIDLY. I HAD A "WIGGLE TEST" DONE ON ALL MY VALVES.
