From a stop, without touching the gas pedal, the vehicle surged forward as if the gas pedal had been pushed to the floor and hit the car ahead.

Throttle became stuck in a wide open position, causing vehicle to suddenly accelerate at a high rate speed. Vehicle drove completely through house, and finally stopped when hitting a tree. Driver sustained injuries.

    1992-10-30Steering92V160000 The power steering gear inlet hose on these vehicles can fracture, causing power steering fluid to spray from hose into the engine compartment.

    Remedy: Replace the power steering gear inlet hose with an improved design.

    Remedy: Honeywell will notify owners and replace the fuel filters free of charge. The recall began on October 18, 2006. Owners may contact fram customer service at 1-800-890-2075 (Option 1).
