I HAVE A 1992 LT-! CORVETTE. IT HAS A OPTI SPARK DISTRIBUTER THAT IS PRONE TO FAIL FROM MOISTURER AND HEAT. MINE HAS FAILES AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE COST IS AROUND 700.00 FOR THE PARTS TO DO THIS RIGHT.

INCONSIS.BRK LGT OPERATION
THE POWER STEERING GEAR INLET HOSE ON THESE VEHICLES CAN FRACTURE, CAUSING POWER STEERING FLUID TO SPRAY FROM HOSE INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
Remedy: REPLACE THE POWER STEERING GEAR INLET HOSE WITH AN IMPROVED DESIGN.

CERTAIN REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTERS, FRAM BRAND NAME P/N G3727, WITH DATE CODES X52911 THROUGH X60801 SEQUENTIALLY OR X600141 AND A MEXICO COUNTRY OR ORIGIN MARKING ON THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING MANUFACTURE
Remedy: HONEYWELL WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE FUEL FILTERS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 18, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FRAM CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-890-2075 (OPTION 1).
