Windshield wipers are working inadvertently. They sometimes don't work at all . Dealer was contacted and stated there was no remedy for this problem.

Windshield wipers often fail when turned on, owner has to hit the motor to get them working again. This vehicle does not fall under the GM recall on the 1996 model due to VIN#. Also, had a steering column malfunction which needed to be repaired.
