My 2002 chevy Avalanche 2500 has the problem of the engine dying as I am driving down the road at freeway speeds and any other speed for that matter. When the problem occurs, I loose power steering and braking ability.

When pulling into my driveway, the brakes pedal went all the way to the floor. I ran into my utility trailer, but no damage was caused. Avalanche is at the garage now, he informed me this is common with chevy trucks.

    Remedy: Honeywell will notify owners and replace the fuel filters free of charge. The recall began on October 18, 2006. Owners may contact fram customer service at 1-800-890-2075 (Option 1).
