TL-THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 650I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S SIDE SAFETY SEAT BELTS FAILED TO RETRACT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHO REPLACED THE SEAT BELTS BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED.

Remedy: BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump module, free of charge. The recall began February 2017. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
