Entering a freeway on ramp during a turn, the car's fuel system failed and caused the car to 'shutter' (Same feeling as someone who does not know how to drive a stick shift). This caused the car to lose control and flip over after hitting a ditch.

On 20 feb 2013, we were driving on a highway in san francisco. Traffic in front of us slowed to a stop and we also stopped. We were then struck hard from behind by another car that hit the right-rear part of our bumper.

The vehicle underwent a BMW recall repair involving the blower motor wiring, completed at an authorized BMW dealership. Immediately after the recall repair, the blower motor began operating intermittently. The system turns on and off while driving.

I picked up my car from the dealer after replacement of the electric water pump. I drove home and parked the vehicle. 4 hours later my neighbor alerted me to an engine compartment fire that completely destroyed the vehicle.
