DT: THE CONTACT'S WIFE WAS DRIVING AND VEHICLE ACCELERATED TO 90 MPH. A LOCAL MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE CONTROL ROD WAS JAMMED. THE MECHANIC DISCONNECTED THE CRUISE CONTROL SO THAT THE CONTROL ROD WOULD NOT STICK AGAIN.
