Failed Recall Remedy / Recurring Safety Defect: Electronic Power Steering BindingMy vehicle previously underwent the official manufacturer remedy for NHTSA Safety Recall Campaign 24V744 (Acura steering gearbox defect).

For the 6th time, my 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec with the 6spd manual transmission has completely shut off. While the immediate thought might be that I stalled or the auto stop/start engaged, that's not the case here. The car completely shuts off.

    2023-07-24Service brakes, hydraulic23V430000 Honda (America Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 Civic, Acura RDX, Acura Integra, and 2022 Honda Accord vehicles.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the VSA modulator, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 24, 2023. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are OEJ, XEK, AEY, XEX and OEW.
